 Position Title: Business Development Representative

Location: Minneapolis, MN, Middletown, DE or Remote

Description: We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Representative to expand and grow our market presence in the industrial sector. As a Hunter, your primary focus will be on aggressively prospecting new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and converting them into long-term clients via our CRM. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying key decision-makers, understanding their unique requirements, and effectively communicating how our portfolio can meet their needs.

 

responsibilities:

  •        Prospecting: Proactively identify and target new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events. 
  •        Client Engagement: Initiate contact with prospective clients, conduct thorough needs assessments, and present tailored solutions that highlight the benefits of our industrial portfolio. 
  •        Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including purchasing managers, engineers, R&D, and executives within target industries. 
  •        Pipeline Management: Manage a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities, utilizing CRM tools to track progress and ensure timely follow-up. 
  •        Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies. 
  •        Collaboration: Work closely with our technical and customer service teams to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing customer satisfaction. 

 

qualifications:

Required

  •        Experience: Proven track record in sales, specifically within the industrial sector and ideally with experience selling nonwovens or related products. 
  •        Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to effectively articulate technical specifications and value propositions. 
  •        Drive: Self-motivated with a strong hunter mentality and a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets. 
  •        Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial applications such as manufacturing processes, extrusion & wet-laid technologies, and materials handling is preferred. 

Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
