We have an exciting opportunity to join Mativ’s Supply Chain Data and Analytics team, as the Process Improvement Manager. This role reports to the Director of Supply Chain of Data & Analytics with strong business partnerships with the Chief Procurement Officer and SVP of Supply Chain and Operations.

responsibilities:

 

The Process Improvement Manager is responsible for identifying and supporting ongoing continuous improvement initiatives within Mativ’s Supply Chain, Sourcing and Operations capabilities. This role will both lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams on the development, testing, execution and change management of new processes and tools.

Primary areas of responsibility will include supporting Supply Chain and Operations Saving tracking tools, optimize Sourcing Categories Strategies, and administrating Contract Life Cycle Management tool.

  • Facilitate monthly sourcing review sessions to ensure saving pipeline is up to date and tracking towards organization targets.
  • Help identify new sourcing project opportunities (savings ideation) utilizing centralized spend reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to validate sourcing savings entered by global sourcing and tactical buying teams to provide accurate and timely reporting.
  • Identify risk mitigation opportunities (e.g. single source items) to be used in centralized master data management tool and reporting.
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards (via PowerBI) to help measure impact of sourcing and supply chain productivity activities.              
  • Facilitate concept-to-delivery solution sessions with decision makers in the organization to ensure utilization of the various data, tools, and capabilities.
  • Create project materials and presentations to facilitate updates, timelines, and report outs by project.
  • Develop new business cases for continuous improvement initiatives with data-driven points of view. 
  • Work on a cross-functional team to support Mativ’s regulatory, compliance, and sustainability needs from process improvement and data management perspective.
  • Support Data and Analytics Governance policies and related policy creation, training, and adoption.
  • Oversee the cloud-based contract management process, including maintaining contract templates, generating contract-based reporting, and supporting training for sourcing and tactical buying users.

 

qualifications:

 

Required

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in Procurement/Supply Chain/Operational Excellence.
  • Track record of successful process and technology implementation including Analytics, Forecasting, Master Data, and Process Automation.
  • Experience working in at a large global matrixed organization.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive initiatives and influence change.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and through presentations utilizing data to objectively support recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of common ERPs and P2P technologies providers/platforms (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Infor).
  • Proven ability to work effectively in matrix organization and collaborate with stakeholders of varying knowledge and backgrounds.
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and identify insights for decision-making.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time within the US and globally.

 

Preferred

 

  • Data Science/Power Apps/Power BI/Azure Certifications are a plus.
  • PMP/CAPM/CSM is a plus
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model (i.e. in-office and remote) with a consistent level of execution erring on the side of action.
