POSITION: IT Business Relationship Manager (Commercial side of the SAS Business Unit)

LOCATION: Alpharetta, GA

 

As an IT Business Relationship Management (BRM) Manager at Mativ, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our business stakeholders and the IT department, reporting into the VP, Transformation & IT BRM. You will act as a strategic partner to the Sustainable and Adhesive Solutions business, understanding the needs and objectives of different business units and ensuring that IT solutions and services are effectively aligned with their goals. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills to foster collaboration and innovation. This role is based in Alpharetta, GA and will have hybrid flexibility to work both onsite and remote. You will be a strong advocate for the Mativ IT culture in We Partner, We Listen, We Deliver & We Care.

responsibilities:

Business Alignment

  • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their strategic goals, challenges, and technology needs.
  • Proactively identify opportunities where IT can add value to the business and drive digital transformation.

Strategic Planning

  • Develop and maintain a roadmap for IT initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Prioritize IT projects based on business priorities and ROI analysis.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with key business leaders and serve as their primary point of contact for IT-related matters.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations on technology solutions and innovations.

Requirements Gathering

  • Work closely with business units to gather and document detailed requirements for IT projects and initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements for the IT team and facilitate the demand intake process.

Project Management

  • Oversee the execution of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Change Management

  • Facilitate change management efforts related to IT projects, helping the organization adapt to new technologies and processes.

Vendor Management

  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to evaluate and select technology solutions that meet business requirements.

Performance Management

          Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of IT solutions and their impact on business outcomes.

          Monitor and report on KPIs, making recommendations for continuous improvement.

qualifications

Required

          Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.

          Proven experience in IT Business Relationship Management or a similar role.

          Project management experience and proficiency with project management tools.

Preferred

          Certification in ITIL, BRMP, or other relevant certifications is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of both IT and business processes and their interdependencies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
