Mativ is actively seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our rapidly expanding Information Technology team as an IT Technical Lead. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with our current infrastructure team and business users. The IT Technical Lead will be responsible for mentoring a team of 2-4 members, overseeing day-to-day operations, and providing top-tier technical support for computer systems, hardware, and software.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Mentoring:
- Lead and mentor 2-4 IT team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Operations Oversight:
- Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality customer service.
- Service level status reporting to leadership.
Technical Support:
- Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, including Cisco Networks, WAN, LAN, Remote VPN Connections, and Telephony.
- Provide end-user support for new user setups and issue resolutions.
- Prioritize and manage multiple cases at the 1st and 2nd level of requests.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems for Dell/HP Server platforms (physical and virtual).
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with clients and colleagues.
Procurement and Maintenance:
- Source IT equipment from suppliers.
- Manage and purchase various IT components to maintain a stable infrastructure.
Project Support:
- Provide regular updates on project documentation.
- Support the implementation of new projects and applications.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive positive changes.
Security Practices:
- Demonstrate awareness and practice strong IT Security practices, preferably based on the CIS CyberSecurity Framework.
Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of professional IT experience or a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Microsoft, Cisco, or VMWare certifications would be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of MS-Windows Server, Microsoft Hyper-V, Windows 10/11, MS-Exchange, MS-Office, DHCP/DNS, Server RAID Configurations, and more.
- Experience with Cisco equipment, Firewalls, Wireless Access Points, and Controllers.
- Familiarity with Cybersecurity best practices and Oracle/Java and Cisco/Meraki networking equipment.
- Experience with Bartender/Loftware label printing
- Experience with Veeam Backup/Replication
- Anti-virus products, TCP-IP networking, basic network/Wi-Fi switching, telephony system knowledge and desktop printer management.
- Knowledge/experience of Microsoft Teams Administration, SharePoint Online Administration, Entra A/D & Intune.
- Active Directory, DNS, Domain Controllers
- Knowledge of Cyber security best practices (i.e. CIS CyberSecurity Framework)
- Oracle/Java and Cisco / Meraki networking equipment, SD-WAN

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Full time exempt position working on site with occasional on-call duties.
- Approximately 20% travel to facilities.
- Ability to travel for projects based on request.
- Demanding role working with users from the factory floor to senior management.
