As a Cloud Architect at Mativ, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solution. You will work closely with our stakeholders to understand their business needs and objectives, and then leverage your expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Office 365, Azure, Business Intelligence (BI), Data Management, and Active Directory, to architect and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.
Responsibilities
- Cloud Solution Design: Design and architect cloud solutions that leverage Microsoft Azure and Office 365 to meet client requirements, including data storage and management, BI reporting, and identity and access management.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement Infrastructure as Code principles to automate the deployment and scaling of cloud resources, enhancing efficiency and reducing operational overhead.
- Data Management: Develop strategies for data storage, retrieval, and backup in the cloud, ensuring data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Business Intelligence (BI): Implement and manage BI solutions using tools like Power BI to create actionable insights from client data.
- Active Directory: Configure and manage Active Directory services for seamless user authentication and access control in a hybrid cloud environment.
- Security: Work with the security team to ensure that cloud solutions are designed with strong security measures, adhering to industry best practices.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and business analysts, to deliver comprehensive cloud solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed architecture documentation, including diagrams, best practices, and technical specifications.
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their evolving needs, provide technical guidance, and present solution proposals.
Education/Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, specializing in Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
- Strong expertise in data management, including data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
- Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Deep understanding of Active Directory, including Azure AD and AD Connect.
- Microsoft certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect, are a plus.
