The Senior Warehouse Specialist is responsible for inventory, organization of the warehouse and traffic of products.  The role is responsible for the oversight of manpower, equipment, and facility within division strategic budget and in accordance with organizational policies.

Skills & experience:

  •  Follows all company established methods, policies, rules, practices, and procedures to ensure employee safety, product quality and efficient operations.
  •  Manages warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
  •  Set direction for all warehouse personnel daily
  •  Coordinate with production to ensure orders are picked in a timely manner
  •  Ensure proper support supplied to production during shifts to include staging of raw materials and pallets
  •  Review and optimize processes and procedures for continuous improvement.
  •  Monitor and address material and hour manufacturing variances.
  •  Provide support to internal audit for SOX compliance, as requested.
  •  Develops and maintains procedures for Inventory Management
  •  Monitors inventory levels
  •  Analyzes traffic rates and patterns to reduce costs
  •  Schedules all inbound and outbound transportation
  •  Interfaces with Planning and Customer Service teams to ensure orders are picked on time and in full and production lines are not waiting for raw materials?
  •  Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, SLOB report, pallet move report, raw material OT report to production equipment, inventory accuracy, detention charges, substrate   Time Phase reports, silo level reporting,
  •  Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
  •  Responsible for organization of racks. Serves as Shipping/Receiving LN subject matter expert.
  • To qualify for employment at Mativ, candidates will need to complete a pre-employment physical, background check and drug screen (post offer acceptance).

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of warehousing experience
  •      1-2 years of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

rEQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Good communication skills as well as analytical skills
  • Knowledge of MS office & Software
  • Advanced skills within Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
