Summary of Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, this position is responsible for unloading and loading trucks. Other duties will include but not limited to, visually inspecting for order content, internal material movement, inventory accuracy, etc.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklift or pallet jack for packing orders, load and unload trucks.
  • Exhibits a sense of urgency in all job duties, especially the accuracy of orders and reacting to internal customer requests.
  • Must be familiar with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that deal with Warehousing and Safety.
  • Follows good safety practices.
  • Verifies integrity of materials and verifies counts of material received.
  • Moves received materials into the appropriate area.
  • Is trained and licensed to operate material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner; maintains the vehicles assigned to them.
  • Inspects order for accuracy and completeness.
  • Keeps warehouse, receiving and shipping dock areas neat and tidy.
  • Completes all associated paperwork accurately and per procedure.
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds safely.

Education/Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Sit down and stand-up forklift certified.
  • 2+ years warehousing experience preferred.
  • ERP knowledge preferred.

  • Basic math skills
  • Communication skills
