Mativ, Renfrew is hiring a SAP Data Inventory Controller. This is a full-time, on-site position.
The SAP Data Inventory Controller ensures the accuracy of all inventory data records and performs root cause analysis on issues discovered.
In addition to the above, responsibilities are as follows:
- Provides corrective actions to address the issues at hand
- Acts as a primary liaison with cross functional groups for problem inventory investigation and resolution
- Coordinates and leads the physical Inventory count requirements based on company direction
- Receives information on all inventory data variance-from multiple sources
- Analyses variances data, investigates and reconcile quantities
- Secures approvals for these now reconciled amounts from appropriate authority
- Enters approved, reconciled amounts in SAP adjusting balances accordingly
- Leads and sets up the physical inventory module for the site physical inventory
- Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors
- Facilitates meetings to review and manage the Q and S blocked items
- Produce and upd update reports for tracking of slow moving inventory
- Acts as a primary liaison with cross functional groups for problem inventory investigation and resolution
- Reconciles offsite inventory locations
- Transacts inventory receipts into offsite locations
- Acts as a champion for improved inventory management techniques and practices
- Helps develop and maintain a strategy relative to SLOBS inventory management and monitor activities and progress
- Helps design and enhance reporting requirements needed to aid in increasing performance
- Ensures accuracy in data entry in SAP to support accurate analysis and reporting
- Accelerates disposition of inventories working with key cross functional groups
- Performs daily cycle counts, investigate variances and make necessary adjustments
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum grade 12 education, post-secondary education preferred
- Materials and inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven skills in communication, organization, negotiation and initiative
- Proven track record in delivering results
- Strong SAP knowledge in shop floor control and inventory management
- Willing and able to work effectively under pressure
- Has the ability to raise own profile within the business by managing key stakeholders effectively
- Confidence in dealing with suppliers and customers (internal)
- Ability to manage conflict
- Accuracy & attention to detail is essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- CAPICS certification in inventory management/materials management and experience of established cycle count procedure and practice is an asset
