Summary of Responsibilities:
The primary role of the Quality Management Systems leader is to be the Quality business process owner for key Quality Management Systems and associated software solutions within the Mativ global organization. This includes systems such as Document Control, Training, Corrective and Preventative Action, Non-Conformance Management, Change Control, Internal Audit and Quality Management Review, as well as the Corporate Quality Audit program.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive standardization and improvement of the Mativ Quality Management System (QMS) procedures across the organization, ensuring compliance with government regulations, external certifications, and Customer requirements.
- Enhance the usability and compliance of the QMS through development, deployment and maintenance of technology platform solutions.
- Oversee the Mativ QMS certification strategy and partner with certifying bodies to ensure robust implementation of system requirements as needed based on business strategies. Provide support to the sites as needed in the initial and ongoing certification to QMS standards.
- Act as the process owner of Corporate Quality Audits to ensure the procedures and processes are appropriately implemented and effectively supporting the business objectives, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate as a team member of a global quality organization to share, develop and implement best practices in a systematic and scalable manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or another technical field with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing quality leadership role.
- Experience working with a broad range of quality systems, regulatory and certification requirements, such as Medical Device, OTC Drug, Automotive, Food Safety, and/or Cosmetic.
- Expertise and experience with key quality systems and techniques such as Document Control, Training, CAPA, Complaint Handling, Design and Development, Management of Change, Management Review, Internal Audit, and Nonconformance Management,
- Experience with electronic Quality Management Systems
- Internal Auditing Experience, with ASQ certification preferred
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
