We are actively pursuing interns with Chemical Engineering background to complete a 10 plus week internshipprogram at our Minneapolis Plant starting in May 2026. The internship will provide exposure to many aspects ofoperations including a multi-functional team setting, real time production, process experience and project workwith specific deliverables and exposure to the plant leadership team. Interns will participate in plant andproduction line operations to learn technical properties and quality issues of extrusion lines with resin basedmaterials.
Ideal candidates will possess high initiative and drive, with a curiosity to perpetually learn and improve ourbusiness. Key requirements include the ability to analyze information to find opportunities, effectivelycommunicate, and work collaboratively in a team setting. Rate of pay ranges from $20/hour to $25/hour dependingupon experience.
Responsibilities:
Design and carry out controlled experiments on extrusion lines to evaluate process variables.
Collect, organize, and analyze manufacturing data to identify potential process improvements.
Collaborate with Process Technicians and Engineers to document findings and recommend changes tooperating conditions.
Present results and recommendations to the department at the conclusion of the internship.
Qualifications:
Individual must be currently enrolled and working toward a degree with a concentration in Chemistry orEngineering discipline.
Student will need to have completed a minimum of 1-full year of course work with preference for individualswho have completed 2-full years.
Preference is a minimum 3.0 GPA in your academic field of study.
Must have solid Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
