Warehouse Specialist

The Middletown, DE location is seeking a Warehouse Specialist o join its Filtration team.  The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for inventory, organization of the warehouse and traffic of products.   

 

 SHIFT: The schedule has rotating shifts: 1st 7:00am -7:00pm.  Includes weekends.  

 

Primary Responsibilites:

  • Follows all company established methods, policies, rules, practices, and procedures to ensure employee safety, product quality and efficient operations.
  •  Manages warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
  •  Coordinate with production to ensure orders are picked in a timely manner
  •  Ensure proper support supplied to production during shifts to include staging of raw materials and pallets 
  • Review and optimize processes and procedures for continuous improvement
  • Monitor and address material and hour manufacturing variances
  •  Provide support to internal audit for SOX compliance, as requested
  •  Develops and maintains procedures for Inventory Management
  •  Monitors inventory levels
  •  Analyzes traffic rates and patterns to reduce costs
  •  Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided Responsible for organization of racks. Serves as Shipping/Receiving LN subject matter expert.

 

Qualifications:  

Required

Ability to read and interpret documents and follow instructions; follows daily, weekly, and monthly schedules to plan work priorities; maintains a good driving record; work independently with little supervision; ability to work overtime if required to meet business demands.

Ability to use a computer; (e.g. Word, Excel, Internet and manufacturing software); ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers

Ability to communicate effectively with workers and supervisor

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out complex multiple step instructions

Ability to deal with problems and non-standardized situations with multiple variables

Prior experience operating powered industrial FL trucks, electric pallet jacks, hoists, Hi-Los, and/or other industrial lift and moving equipment required

High School Diploma or GED required

 

Preferred:

Valid driver’s license and a good driving record preferred

Prior FL truck driving experience preferred

Prior warehouse experience prefered
