Summary of Responsibilities:
The Shipping Auditor provides support, development, and coordination of quality control processes included within the warehouse. Must have strong understanding of Shipping and Receiving processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Have excellent attendance
- Strong attention to detail
- Data entry in computerized systems
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Visually inspect orders to be shipped to customers to ensure compliance with customer specifications
- Work closely with the Shipping Team to address both process and behavior related issues with Warehouse Specialist and Material Handlers on quality
- The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and writing, with customers and all levels of staff to ensure production and quality standards are met.
- Ensure all shipping activities strictly follow company policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Other duties as required by Manager
Required Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and analytical with relentless attention to detail
- Ability to perform assigned tasks independently with limited supervision
- Proven ability to multi-task and finish projects accurately and on time
- Strong math skills; be mechanically inclined
- Ability to learn new processes in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of MS office applications
Education, Licenses, Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience: 1 year in Shipping/Receiving warehouse environment. Experience with inventory management systems is preferred.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job the employee must: Be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds; Regularly required to use hands and stand for longs periods of time.
