Schedule:  First shift, Monday-Friday 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform/Validate inspections of manufactured products to ensure product meets applicable specifications.
• Perform review of production reports (i.e., material consumption,  specification revisions, customer quality agreements, etc.) to ensure all quality documentation are complete and accurate.
• Validate first article, in process and final inspections in the development of finished products.
• Maintain documentation and reporting on quality metrics, inspection results, and process improvements.
• Perform duties related to gage calibration and verification, maintain the measuring equipment calibration spreadsheet.
• Collaborating with engineering, production, and supplier teams to address quality problems and improve processes.
• Perform quality assurance functions as needed (review designs, perform internal audits to ISO 9001 :2015 Standards, etc.).

• Perform Capability Studies, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action reports.

Required Skills:

• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Proficiency with basic computer skills i.e., MS Applications of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and similar software applications.
• Basic math skills
• Regularly required to use hands and stand for long periods of time
• Attention to detail is a must
• Communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• While performing this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and loud noise areas
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

Demonstratable ability to use calipers, micrometers, height gauge, bore gauges, optical comparator, etc.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Three years related experience or combination of education and experience
