The site Buyer is accountable for the application of local sourcing/purchasing plans on defined segments in compliance with the Purchasing cascaded strategy. This position is responsible for the company and suppliers relationships and is accountable for entitled non-globalized purchases/items/suppliers.

Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for compliance with laws, guidelines, policies and procedures in support of buying initiatives.

Indentify opportunities for improvements and synergies with drive deflation and cost avoidance.

Executing the local sourcing strategies that delivers a competitive advantage driving the strategic supplier initiatives.

Sourcing and selecting new materials and suppliers, and opening/closing supplier accounts,
-
Producing supplier tender comparisons and project cost/value reports. Ensure sourcing optimization and overall supplier performance.

Meeting with suppliers and account representatives, negotiating rates, updating approved supplier list and general supplier records, alongside finalizing Supplier Performance Reviews.

Dealing with global material orders and placing plant and equipment orders from procurement schedules:.

Monitor supplier quality/performance and develop improvement strategies to ensure business needs are met.

Driving improvements in sourcing processes including escalations due to delivery/quality issues, invoicing/payables issues, and database management.

Performing detailed cost analysis of components & manufacturing processes used by our suppliers to ensure highest quality at the lowest cost solution.

Reporting and analyzing data to make recommendations regarding vendors, products, processes, etc.

Sourcing of market data and trends for optimal buying opportunities

Additional duties as assigned.
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in related field with 3+ - years’ work experience in sourcing or procurement or a combination of education and experience.

The annual salary for this role is $68,700.00-$104,300.00
