Sales Director

POSITION: Filtration Sales Director, HVAC/ APC

LOCATION: Remote.

 

Currently we have a need for a Filtration Sales Director for our HVAC/APC business.  The Sales Director will manage and grow, through business development efforts our HVAC/APC business & sales activities of market segment. Act as the voice of the market/or the customer in an assigned, market segment or group of customers.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and lead a team of sales professionals.
  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals through new business development efforts and account management.
  • Fill the sales pipeline with immediate and future opportunities.
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates; forecasts sales activities and assists in setting performance goals accordingly.
  • Directs product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
  • Managing our global HVAC/APC Accounts and hunting for new business.
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Delivers sales presentations to key clients; negotiates and closes deals.
  • Assists in product research and development.
  • Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units within company.
  • Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
  • Additional duties as assigned

 

 EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; with 8-10 years sales experience in given market segment or adjacent market segment

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong commercial acumen with a genuine enthusiasm and commitment to provide an exceptional sales experience for our customers.
  • Driven, self-starter with strong business development/ hunter acumen with the ability to manage.
  • Thrive in a stretching yet supportive environment where responsibility is offered and encouraged.
  • Strong presentation skills as well as excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to travel in market territory.
  • Mastery of CRM practices, processes, and tools to drive superior sales performance..
