POSITION: Corporate Accountant

 

LOCATION: Alpharetta, GA

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Corporate Accountant supports the financial close and reporting processes by preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and assisting in the maintenance of accurate general ledger accounts. This role is ideal for a motivated accounting professional eager to build a strong foundation in technical corporate accounting and gain global exposure.

Working within the corporate record-to-report team, this individual will collaborate across regions and functions, learning the complexities of a global business while supporting compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and company accounting policies.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare recurring and non-recurring journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, research variances, and assist with resolution of reconciling items.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Support intercompany accounting activities, including settlements, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Support financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and internal reporting activities.
  • Collaborate with global and regional accounting teams to ensure consistent and accurate application of accounting policies.
  • Participate in process improvement and standardization initiatives within the R2R cycle.
  • Support internal and external audit requests and documentation.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience (internships or corporate/public accounting preferred).
  • Foundational knowledge of US GAAP and general ledger accounting.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communicator, eager to collaborate in a global team environment.
  • Motivated self-starter with a curiosity for systems, automation, and process improvement.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP and Blackline preferred.
